Description

This mushroom is named as such because of its roasted chicken flavor. A prized mushroom among chefs. Very easy to saute, smoke, or roast with some mixed vegetables. It has a firm texture and amazing flavor.

Additionally, Maitake has been shown to have a variety of medicinal values – including, but not limited to, increasing immune system efficiency, reducing blood pressure, positively affecting both diabetes and cholesterol levels, as well as a variety of anti-cancer properties.
